Soil: Consistently moist, not soggy. Low to Neutral pH.
Light: Full sun to light shade.
Height in the Garden: 20' to 35'
Attributes: Broadleaf, deciduous, small tree that is fantastic in the landscape and for bonsai culture.
Notes: Nice, little tree with good movement. Needs cut back to select new leader. Foliage is looking pretty rough at the moment, becasue of recent cut back and late seaseon duldrums. It's too early to defoliate at this point. The folioage will be perfect in spring.
